    acer hard drive speeds

    can anyone tell me what the hard disk speeds are on the following models:

    TravelMate 662LMi
    TravelMate 291LCi-g
    TravelMate 291LMi
    TravelMate 291LMi-g
    TravelMate 292LCI
    Aspire 2012WLCI

    do any of them have a 5400rpm disk??

    If a manufacturer does not specifically state that a notebooks hard drive speed is 5400RPM or 7200RPM then it is safe to assume it is 4200RPM. These are obviously cheaper hard drives and manufacturers favor them because most consumers are not savvy enough to know the difference between hard drive speeds, but they are savvy enough to see a price is lower on a notebook [ ;)]
