    I couldn't wait and called support and the guy said they replaced the LCD screen. So my 5315-2713 should be like new.

    He didn't say if they formatted the hard drive and reinstalled everything but, he did said they didn't remove the hard drive. So my Samsung 500GB hard drive should be fine.
