    is it worth getting any acer netbook for $100 because my friend wants to sell me one that has never been used and i dont know which model it is

    If it's never been used it's most likely worth it regardless of what it is
    Although it would be prudent to ask before you decide- it's rather hard on our part to answer a question like this.

    cheapest netbook out there in the US is around 199. Go for it and sell it if you don't like it.

    If you're positive they wouldn't sell you a dud, then buy it if you need a netbook. Can't really lose for $100.
