Hi, Im not sure if other owners of this laptop have this problem, but the screen display has a blue tint to it. Ive tried adjusting the color in the graphic property, but i can never seem to get it right so the colors on pictures are never accurately depicted when compared to my other laptops or monitors.

is this an isolated incident, or do others experience this as well?

    thanks!

I can say that this is an isolated case on your system, I have been using my 5810T for 7 months now and never did I experience any kind of problems that most timeline users posted here, i can say that mine is running perfectly smooth since day one, except for the time when I replaced the HDD and reinstalled everything which is somehow very time consuming for me.

LED backlight can have a bluer tint compared to the warmer looking older CCFL , though i have had a number of LED backlight notebooks and have not had a problem.

If money is not a problem, you could buy a screen calibrator device, like "Spyder 2 Pro" or similar.

I haven't noticed any blue tint, although I can say for my screen (3810T), the screen isn't that terrific. Contrast ratios in particular.

Yeah bluish tint on my 3810t as well. Going to use Spyder 3 Elite to calibrate it once i do all the backups and recovery disk creation.
