Hello, I have just installed XP on my 3810t laptop getting rid of vista. Before removing vista it reported battery life to be 7-8 hours when fully charged snd when unplugging it from the mains it operated in a low pwer mode. Now with XP it reports 5 hours for fully charged and does not operate in low power mode. I would like to know if there is a setting, a driver or some software that makes the battery life running XP the same as VISTA?

    Thanks
