    Morning folks, thanks for having me..
    Ok. I'm kinda new to the laptop thing..
    I acquired this lappy for free when a relative upgraded..
    It has 512 ram in it now and i would like to add another 512 i have here..

    Im having a really hard time finding the second ram slot..Im figuring its under the keyboard maybe??? I cant find the location of the slot after an hr on google, but luckily i stumbled across this site!!!

    Anyhow, can someone tell me where my second ram slot is?? I know about the one under bottom panel...
    And if the second slot is under the keyboard could you maybe hook me up with a link for a how to change the ram??
    I really appreciate the help with this...

    Both are located under the long panel in the middle of the bottom of the laptop. Both ram slots are there, on top of one another.

    My wife had has a 2440 for a couple of years now and seems it has just died, no power, no beeps, nothing :(
