    Dear All,
    I have laptop Acer Travelmate 4150, once I reset the BIOS that I got from internet, then after that I reboot the laptop, and suddenly disaster came..
    my acer wont boot. then I try to fix in acer service center, they said that i should replace the motherboard.. what?? it cost too much..
    any solutions guys? or have someone has the experiences?
    please help me

    Hi there, there may be hope for you. The newest bios for this unit has a crisis disk mode. You can get the latest bios HERE

    Read the readme file and it will give you the instructions you need to use the crisis mode. It does rely on you having a USB floppy drive however.

    but I cant boot.. when I turn the power on there nothing on my screen..

    The crisis mode is designed to initiate a protected area of the bios that is never altered when flashing the bios; when initiated it will run the floppy disk and reflash the bios, you may not be able to see anything happening but it will be flashing the bios as an automatic procedure.
    If you cant perform this task you will need a new mainboard anyway.
