    acer travelmate2200 bios update

    has anyone flashed this bios and if so does it give the option to boot from usb or external drive

    all that is taken from an acer website and inside the TEXT file in the DOS flash for the TM 2200

    so it does have the ability to boot from a USB FLOPPY,, and if it can boot from USB FLOPPY, i would think it would also be able to boot from other USB devices assuming the device is bootable..

    but i don't own that model... but there have been some extensive changes to the BIOS and i' would think of updating it just to get it as current as possible

    read the entire txt or doc file... it has detailed info about fixes added to each new BIOS...

    that's why i'm such an advocate of BIOS updates
