Im planning on getting a new acer this month and wanted to find out about acers extended service program. The last thread made about it was 4 years ago hah. I dont know how popular these extended warranty's are with people but I cant find one iota of info about them. Heres a few links I found on amazon selling them one with total coverage(includes accidental) and one for 2/3 year extended parts/labor( link, link). Can someone set me striaght with what these do and how they work? I will be ordering from canada so can I add it even though Im in the USA? Is this an international warranty service by acer. Also how long do I have from the time of purchase to buy one of these and add it to the laptop? Is there a page that I have missed that explains this all? Its non transferable from what I understand. Thanks for helping.

ps. I think non-transferable stinks to no end!

Acer's warranty area covers canada and the US. So it is a standard warranty, even if you buy it in canada.
