    Yes Call Acer.

And did you match the serial number on the bottom sticker with the one that in the BIOS setup?

i've seen this before on machines that have been sold by dealers where the unit has been found to be DOA by the reseller and sent to Acer for repair, the mainboard has been replaced but the DMI information hasn't been updated in the BIOS; therefore you get the mainboard manufacturer's serial number instead of the notebook's serial number and Acer doesn't recognise it. Use the serial from the packaging or on the bottom of the machine and contact Acer saying that the Serial number in the BIOS is incorrect.

The European models must registered at the European site .

I tried by mistake to register my laptop at the American web site , and i got the message ... No valid serial .
