    i have a virus on laptop ,so would like to reinstall from new,,thanks

    I'm not sure what you mean by "without a disc". If your system is still accessible, I would try to download the the "Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool" from Virus Removal Tools, in order to see if your existing installation can be saved. It did rescue one of my computers after a serious attack.

    if the laptop have a recovery partition (hidden) you may access it through the key-combination Alt-F10 pressed at boot then a menu appears to let you restore the system as new.
