the 5672 is a widescreen nb. some games aren't compatible with widescreen resolution, so I guess it takes the 1024x768. I have the same problem with the Battlefield-Series.

After researching a bit, I found out that those series aren't playable in widescreen.

So unless the game can run at a resolution 1280X800, (the max res the 5672 can run) or some other wide screen equivalent you will have black bars. Nothing to worry about, aside from the fact that they can be annoying.

    Cheers

I think its a problem with the scaling, i.e. you havent turned it on. Nvidia has something in its graphics control panel to enable monitor scaling. I can't remember where, but it definitely does.

Go through the Nvidia control panel with a fine comb, and im sure you will find it.

to be more specific. The 5672's LCD MONITOR can run at a max rez of 1280 x 1024. If you used an external monitor you could run upwards of 1600x1200 depending on what you want.

The lcd monitor limits you not the graphics card ;)

Omega drivers dont have the scaling feature. (or so i.ve heard) Get the Catalys control center. I would suggest trying the ATI mobility catalyst drivers.
The newest ones are 6.10. There's a scale function in there. That way all resolution will scale to you native panel res. No-problem mon.

Glad I could help. If you got the new 6.10 drivers. If you want post your reactions on how they work with your games. Ya know like pro/cons from using the new release. If you got the time, post in the ATi 6.10 drivers thread.
