I've got a friend who wants to spend about $900 on a laptop. we can get a 5720G model with the HD2600 for $880ish...T5250, 2GB DDR2, 200GB HDD, BT, fingerprint reader, blah blah blah...
being they look and sound identical to the 5920G I have, but for the HD2600 instead of an 8600M GT, I am hopeful.
what say have you, Acer experts?

what exactly do you want to upgrade?
-
well, a T5250 isn't a fast processor, so in the future, when they're willing to invest, they probably would want to upgrade the processor...but like in the case of the 5920G, you don't have to dear the book down to access everything, just remove the one panel and shazaaam, you have access to EVERYTHING
are the 5720G's the same or similar? -

Do you have a link to 5720G? I suppose that if you can find a picture of the bottom of the laptop then it'll be easy to answer your question.

hey Patrick...this would be the model I'm referring to:

are the 5720G's as upgrade friendly as the 5920G's?
