Hello, i bought this laptop 3 month ago, it was allways running games like mw,mw2,dirt2, grid and so on without problems and smoothly. From the biginning i was using windows 7 home premium x64 and everything was great but some games didnt work and i switched to x32 version, evetything was good but it only used 3 of my 4 gb ram, anyway i stayed with it and now, about week ago i had a problem with performance, when i turn games on they are working great for some 10 mins but then it lags alot, feels like it's overheated but it's not, i updated drivers, changed different versions of them, tried windows xp, tried windows starter, and left off with windows 7 ultimate x64 where it still laggs after a while of playing, even if i change game graphics to poorer result is the same, gpu temperature is 57 degrees whyle playing nfs shift allmost on maximum graphics and it runs great for some 10 mins and then starts to lag, temperature still is the same, all games i played before act like that and it's anoying, please help

What about your CPU temperatures? That could cause slow down.

You know what? Clean out your fan intake and exhaust just to be safe.
Then try the tips in this guide. It's not originally applicable to the 7738G, but might help diagnose the issue.

Could you please post what solved the problem? Was it ThrottleStop?

EDIT: Now that I think about it, 61 Celsius for CPU idle temps is pretty miserable.
