    ive just found 1681 refurb on newegg for only 1199 with one year manuf. quranty

    is it worth to save 150 dol anb having risk risk of refurb <i am not living in US>

    do you have any experience with refurb laptops?

    I wouldn't risk it for 150 unless you're on a really tight budget. I've bought other electronics refurbished before and they were fine, but an investment such as a laptop makes me slightly nervous. I have heard good things about Acer's support though, so that calms my qualms a little. For ME - at that price - it would not be worth it. But the question is it worth it for you? 150 bucks could buy you another battery...
