    aspire 3100 not powering up

    I have a 3100 and its not powering up.
    It will act like it will power on for a second and then die.
    The battery charging light will flash.
    Is this thing shot?
    Any ideas whats wrong with it?

    It sounds like you have a serious hardware malfunction. If you have a warranty I suggest you use it- if not, then maybe look for a new laptop.

    Also, could you tell us more about your problem? does the fan come on? Does the HDD light flash? Does it beep?
