    aspire 3630 external keyboard problems

    just bought a keyboard for acer aspire 3630 due to rsi - laptop appears to 'install' keyboard (no driver just plug in usb and use apparently) but then i cant actually type - it works fine on the desktop - im also using a usb mouse

    did you try it in one of your other USB ports? (swap it with the mouse and see if it works)

    yes tried all three usb ports - mouse working ok and it works fine on my daughters desktop when plugged into the hub!

    ive also had minor problems with my projector - the usual (full)images dont come up when i press the hot keys to select which option to run the screen/projector in just 3 empty boxes - could this be linked?
