    aspire 3662wlmi battery fault

    my laptop runs using the ac adapter only; have tried another battery and still no joy runnning on battery power only.

    the laptop power button needs two presses to boot to Windows; when restarting from within Windows the laptop shuts down and requires five presses of power button to reboot. I have also tried another ac adapter but the same stuff occurs. The machine otherwise works fine despite the faults but would wish to fix the fault.

    Any advice/suggestions would be most welcome,
