    aspire 4710 hibernate problem.HELP

    I have an aspire 4710, and after about 3 months, my laptop can't hibernate and stand by. It always freeze at the "preparing to hibernate/stand by" screen. Please help me!!

    Intel core duo
    1 gb RAM
    Windows XP pro SP2
    120 GB HDD
