So I have a 4736z with the atheros ar5b91 internal wlan card. I am running vista x64. I have never in my life seen so many bsod due to drivers!!

The driver on acer's website will not install - gives an error "qmi module not exist"

I have tried every other drive on the net....they will install and even work for a little while, but when the laptop powers down it will bsod right before you enter your login/pass..

bsod is usually stop 0x000000c5 and points to athrx.sys

I have no idea what to next - I read that the atheros card is good and when it works I would agree but out of the 14 days of ownership I would say I have had 2 trouble free days all due to this card/driver.

    Please help!!
