    aspire 5102 wlmi usb problems

    for some reason 2 of my usb ports keep saying that they are not usb 2.0. when i bought the laptop they worked fine, but now they wont.

    and 2nd problem is the built in webcam always comes up as unrecognized. the camera also used to work but no longer works at all. even reinstalling the drivers wont work since the camera isnt being recognized properly. the laptop knows something is connected but doesnt know what it is.


    i have a feeling the webcam has somehow become partially unplugged so i might take the laptop apart and see if i can fix that
    but the usb 2.0 issue is one i cant find a possible fix for

    any ideas?
