    Hello,

I formatted the c drive without making the recovery dvd...

I installed two operating systems then the acer mbr got damaged (missing bootmgr )

I reformatted the hard drive but without deleting the 12GB pqservice..

I actually made a copy of that partition on a flash drive.

    now...can I rebuild that partition so I can recover windows 7 ?

at least can I extract my recovery dvd from the pqservice partition.

    thanks.

Even if it's possible it would be/may be annoyingly hard.
It's far easier to use a retail Windows disc to install, use a product key that's on a sticker on the bottom of your notebook and install drivers and apps from Acer support.
