See if you can disable the discrete graphics in the bios when you first turn it on. Also if it is related to the integrated graphics you can try reseating your ram or trying one stick at a time. Honestly probably related to your discrete graphics though.

Generally if the laptop displays on an external monitor fine, but glitches on internal monitor, it has to do with the panel in some way. It could be a loose or bad LCD cable or it could even be a bad panel. Before taking it apart to troubleshoot further you should still try and re-seat easy to access components.

If it is under warranty still, you may want to consider sending it back to Acer.

Im out of the warranty. I've been using external monitor all this time I haven't had time to mess with laptop till today. I took my lcd and put on my friend asus laptop I guess the cable wasn't correct one from his laptop but I was still able see his intel logo at boot up on my lcd but no screen light. I put his LCD on my laptop and I got random color red,green,blue,etc... so I really don't know what is it I hoping its bad cable like your said next week or so I'll buy cable off ebay in hope that's my problem. I have 20 something odd years in computer repair but this one got me good.

Could be the lcd controller. i had one go bad....actually it died as a result of blunt force trauma from someone tossing the notebook across the room. it was an older model acer travelmate. anyways, same issue you are describing except it was purple screen. i would try that.

isn't LCD controller integrate onto the motherboard ? if so new mobo sound inevitable.

like stated before I can't longer see anything on my internal LCD I can still control the brightness fine lol but everything else I gotta connect a external monitor or hdmi. I should have return this laptop since I bought it, when I first gotta it the fan was not powering on I had to open the laptop and mess with fan bit get it to power on. I think this laptop has manufacturer flaws.
