    Either the LVDS cable is broken, or you need a new MXM card.

    What tests do I need to know that either the card or the display cable Thanks

    Use a desktop monitor over VGA or DVI connection. May have to use a FN key combo to get it switched.

    If you see the same thing on the external monitor you need a new MXM card. And of course if it works perfectly over external display then you need a new cable or LCD.

    use external screen which would not open at all, air is certainly say that graphics card, and even find such a card and used
