    has any one got one of these. reason im asking the sound is not very loud even when i put vol to 100. am i missin something or is this the loudest it gets

    Have you done anything to the notebook or is it stock (as it was shipped or as you got it)? Try updating the audio drivers from Acer Euro FTP (check the sticky for the link).
