The other day I had been using my laptop, and ran it out of battery. When I plugged it in to use it, all I get is a blink from the power button, and the fan spins for a second.

    I have tried:
holding the power button down for 30 seconds
unplugging the cmos battery, and holding the power button down for 30 seconds
    switching ram
    switching CPU
    switching GPU

It seems to power on with the ram removed, but nothing shows on the screen.
    Any Ideas?

Hell, as fast as this thing is, I'll order another motherboard if this one is fried.

Well... I guess I don't need to bump this, because I'm still at the top. But... does anyone know the advantages of different motherboard versions? I can get a 1.0 or a 1.01 revision. I highly doubt they changed it or updated anything much.
