    the saga continues :)
just my laptop back from acer with these notes
    Replace IC Component, Replaced FRUS
    Replaced mainboard and HDD
but here where the problems start...
when my machine went in it was a aspire 7520 but now in the bios it says 7220,
now is the 7220 a better board or should i phone up and start a stink on the phone?
thanx in advance for your opinions :)

I don't know but the User's Guide is the same as for Aspire 7520. Machine Type: Aspire 7520G/7520/7220. Frankly I don't know the difference.

    Aspire 7220

By the way Aspire 7220 looks better :) It has Nvidia chipset and GeForce 7150M.
Check your chipset and graphic card in Device Manager. You'll see if they are different from your 7520.
    If I were you I'll keep the 7220 :)

    Graphics card was a 7000m not the 7130 :(
it also had a conflict with the motherboard, over heating and crashing every 5 minutes,
so its going back to acer and this will be the 5th time in as many months
so i told them repair to a satisfactory condition replace or refund cos if it happens again i will be seeking legal advice.
