    aspire 9410z problem..plz help

    some hppened to windows vista installed and i was left with no option but to format. i downgraded to xp sp3 and installed all the drivers. but wlan and bluetooth are not working even i have installed the drivers. it seems that the buttons on the unit are not working. what should i do? please help me

    If that button works before you downgraded. Try to check if you installed the correct drivers. If it is not the problem. Try to reinstall the vista and check the buttons if it's working already. If not, then call your manufacturer for an RMA or replacement.

    yeah on vista those buttons were working perfectly but now my bt software in task bar shows that no device found. i downloaded all the drivers from panam.acer....anyone else?
    also i was fed up from vista as many of my softwares are not compatible with vista.

    I would say reinstall using recovery discs (You DID create/burn them when it it was new and it kept asking ?????)

    Can you access recovery by pressing ALT and F10 at initial boot up ?

    If you have "downgraded" to XP I think all the issues you have will be incorrect drivers/applications etc.

    Well an acer representative told me that ALT + F10 will format all my hard drives and i ll loose all my data which i cannot afford. If its a driver problem please suggest me where to look for the correct drivers.
