i have an acer aspire 5920. and vista.

i've used win98 and xp and could watch/listen to things on the www then open the temporary internet files and harvest them from there. :)
but not with vista. there seems to be a whole lot less files than there would have been with the other 2 (98/xp). and all small.

so are these files just not downloaded or are they hidden somewhere? i read somewhere about a 'virtual' folder but can't get any info on that.

    any suggestions? thanks

    i have sp1

video clips are no problem - you just use an online link like clipnabber or keepvid.
even better is to download firefox and the add-on 'download helper'.

but i would like to be able to 'harvest' little things like flash e-cards or games.
    or midis.

if this is helpful pls let me know.

and if someone can help me pls pls post here!!!
