This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     aspireONE blackscrn, possible GPU overheat

    when playing videos out of the VGA port in X/mplayer the entire system hardfreezes after like 5 minutes of playback. ctrl-alt-f1 cant even save it

    quite possibly this will be fixed in X or intel drivers eventually.

    just a heads up in case someone was wanting to use this machine as a little video playback device plugged into a TV. been a major showstopper here
