it seems a lot of people are having problems with these drivers. for me, i was able to install them, however i cant open/use the catalyst control center. each time i try to open it, i get an error message that says the the CLI has encountered an error and has to shut down. its really weird..in reinstalled the drivers like 3 times and the same thing happens. i even used driver cleaner and got rid of my older drivers. the same thing happens. still though, i am using the latest 6.8 drivers even though the catalyst control center doesnt work. i'm just waiting for omega to release the omega 6.8 drivers. they will be kick ass.

I think you tried to install catalyst for dekstop not mobile version.
It works for some laptop tough, not for ACER.

Go to Gaming Subforum and find direct link for mobile catalyst.
    you'll be fine.
great driver with downclock capabilities tru powerplay(for daily use) and you can OC with ATI tool (for Gaming)

eh... i ended up installing the oem drivers and then omega drivers. This was really wierd... I could only install the omega drivers only after i installed the vga drivers back. The omega driver tools look very different and limited compared to my desktop... probably because i selected the top one of the 3 available. eh...
