hello. my full laptop model is acer aspire 7720zg 4a4g25mi and im on win xp pro sp3. the problem is with sound. the sound ischoppy and sub-quality.

i tried every sort and kind of drivers i found and i had no success. last time i reinstall codecs was the worse try. over a period of listening song music be lost very often. every 3-4 seconds i suppose. after that i install codecs from acer site for my notebook for win xp. THIS problem solved, but i still have my first - when i heart some kind of crackling and vibrations. i cant describe my feeling when there was a vista os here, cuz i even ddnt want to try it out. after i bought that laptop i did a clean install of win xp sp3 and all was fine untill i started listening music. i think the problem is with drivers, but where shd i go to search? as i said above i tried all kind of drivers of realtek and and have no clue what do i do

theres no any possibility try to solve this problem on vista, as for me its epic fail by microsoft, i dont like it much. please consider only with win xp

any help wud be really great appreciated. if i missed some details just ask, ill more than happy to describe it agn

I do also own a 7720G, and did also have the same sound stuttering issues you´ve mentioned.

What you have to do ir order to solve them, is update your BIOS to v1.45. You can download BIOS file and instructions here

Kind Regards and good luck :)
