I have an acer aspire 5630 laptop wich have been wrongly flashed. I'm trying now to replace the bios chip (29lv008) with a new one wich i have to program on an external programmer. My problem is that the only falsh file available at acer site is an executable one (flash 32.exe). Is there a way to extract the flash file to be programmed from this .exe. Or have someone the dump file of such a laptop.
Thanks.

I think flash32.exe is the software that...well, flashes - erase the old BIOS and replace it with the new one. I think the WPH is the actual BIOS file.

did you go to acer europe. I've just had a look there and within the zip file the bios file is there bI50310A.WPH.
