black start menu problem on 8204

normally my new 8204WLMi has been fine but I now have this problem. My start menu sometimes has a major problem in that I see only a black rectangle where the icons/programs should be. (see picture).Things can't be selected and performance appears to be locked (by something). I also seemed to have lost my quicklaunch toolbar around that time which I reselected. a reboot fixes all

I googled this and it may be a logitech camera driver issue.



anyone have a solution to this problem?? help please!

Mystery to me too. Right now i have the disappearing Quick launch problem that i can't find a solution to. It does not seem to be associated with the problem you desctibe.

For a time i was using StyleXP to customize my system and during that month or so this problem never occurred. As soon as i abandoned that the disapearing Start menu started happening again. Tried playing with WindowBlinds and everything was fine. But i go back to windows and here we have it again. It only seems to happen ocaisionally with me, but when it does rebooting is the only way out of it.

I'd be interested in a soution to this too.

it seems to be a problem of Orbicam driver..... made by Logitech...in my opinion.

I have the same issue on my new aspire 5672...
