    camera don't work

    My camera don' work on aspire 6920g, I installed camera utility (acer crystal eye) but nothing, this is on pop up window

    somebody have the same problem? or solution...

    can somebody give me drivers, I got camera utility and it's setup.exe but I guess that this are not real drivers, only utility

    Vista or XP? There are no ACER drivers for XP so you have to download some drivers from the manufacturer..

    vista home premium, how to find out manufacturer when scan don't show you that camera exist, that's why I asking some who have the same machine to send me some drivers.... and on xp cam is working but only screenshot, can't rec

    is there a mention of cam software in msconfig start-up tab.?
    do you have a shortcut on desktop for the cam ?
    all a conflict is. "some thing else is using it".
    try and see if its running in processes Ctrl+Alt+del.

    nothing in msconfig about cam, and no shortcut, I got in Start - Acer Crystal Cam but only show that cam is not found, and in Control panel - Imaging devices I got cam, working properly but that's all

    and no warning sign in Device Manager ?
    try stopping all IM programmes and anything else that could use the cam.
    then open movie maker and configure that to use the cam.

    one more question. is the cam showing in My Computer?

    ok just tried some thing out
    i opened msn with a video chat running and the tried to open movie maker and got the same conflict message you got.
    after shutting MSN and restarting movie maker all was fine.

    I try start on clean vista, and without any programs today, cause I stopped all serviced but nothing men....

    Theres nothing in My Computer like that, I have it on xp but now on vista nothing...

    unknown is the cam and it will some times show as an unknown USB device.
    you will have to find the drivers and load the file to desktop
    then load drivers as if you where loading a usb cam.
    use add hardware in control panel.
    give that a shot. thats how i loaded my drivers for the cam and bisonbar software.

    expand image devices and my cam shows up in that.
    so unknown is maybe another problem :confused:

    dont know, usb video device is here like you see, and I dont know what else can missing

    and you can see scanner on this image but I ain't got any scanner so wtf is this :D

    is the laptop new or a refurbished unit ?
    and if the warranty is still valid. take it back to the shop.
    as it seems there's software on your HDD that you didn't load.....Very Odd

    New, one week and got warranty for one year, I will call tomorrow but I think they won't help like they usual do, thx anyway, I will explore til I find so God help me

    that unknown is modem not cam. uhm, did you use suyin cam utility because thats what came and worked with my 6920g cam?
