Go to device manager and find what kind of dvd player is in laptop
then go to makers site and download the newest firmware.

    Hi and welcome madden

Is your DVD drive by any chance a Mat....

This language filter is pissing me off.

Put these bold words together: MAT SHI TA

(Had to modify the name because anything with (SHI.....T) in gets censored here). It's a company dammit. Wakey, wakey Mods.

My Acer has a slot loading MAT SH TA drive which has had very little use but has had plenty issues. Apparently it is a design fault with with these things. And firmware updates canno't be found anywhere on the NET.

    Cheers

the funny part of the matsh +i+ ta name is that Char 3, 4,5, 6 part describes there quality quite well.

    Edit: oh, I forgot I'm not programming... so that would Characters 4, 5, 6, 7 with M = 1.
