after i formatted my computer, i installed acer's video driver ATI VGA Driver v8.202.0.0. i was just trying to see if a new catalyst driver was out so i went to ATI's website and dled the mobility catalyst. when i tried to install it, it said "this software update cannot be installed on this computer, please contact your computer maker." anyone else have this problem?

try removing the ati driver in add/remove programs and then go through the install process.
