    Hi everyone.
    I hope I am posting in the right place :(

    I recently bought an acer aspire 7741Z-5731 with windows 7 home premium, and I've been trying to remove the capslock notification that appears everytime I turn capslock on and off for months now. I've searched all through the web for suggestions but nothing is able to bring me any solid results or it doesn't apply to my laptop.

    Did you install any of Acer software like launch manager etc.?
    It is possible that launch manager notifies you about caps lock just as it does with volume when you change it or when you enable/disable touchpad etc...

    Yes, it's launch manager which is responsible for these messages.
    I consider launch manager rather useful, so I am not sure if uninstalling that tool is a good idea.
    Some versions of launch manager can be configured, so this is what I'd look for.

    Turns out it was Launch Manager, and I was able to disable the capslock notification without having to uninstall the whole thing :)
