    Playa,
When I bought Acer6935G cinedash did not work at all. I found somwhere here( do not remember where) what to do.
    1. turn off laptop from AC (use battery),
    2. if laptop is on please turn it off
    3. remove battery and press "start" button for 30sec (do not know if is important, actually is hard to check)
    4. insert battery and that is all.
For me cinedash is working now without any issues.
Maybe my model is not the same like yours but should be worked.

    Regards,

    Lastat
