    Hi guys,

sorry in advance if this has been answered elewhere but I couldn't find it.

I've a broken Travelmate 320 and am thinking about buying an old used travelmate on ebay and subsequently trying to re-use the working (ram, hd, maybe the cd-drive) parts. Will this work?

    Cheers

Depends on the older model's motherboard.
But I think it will be better if you buy a barebone laptop.
Search eBay and other places and find compatible parts.
But it might not be worth it,
meaning that by paying a bit more you might be able to get a much better laptop.
