I have an acer aspire 3610 and there is a really bad crack on the bottom left side of the back of my screen right by the hinge. I've noticed that it's starting to crack on the right side by the hinge as well. I've done some research on the internet and found a lot of people with similar problems with their acers, some of which were able to get acer to help them fix it. My problem is that my warranty is up. Is there any way that acer would still fix this for me without charge? I'm a college student and I can't afford to spend money on repairing my crappy laptop. The battery life on my laptop is also very low, about half an hour! I only got this laptop about 2 years ago and I rarely run it on the battery alone, I usually have it plugged in. Help/suggestions, anyone? :(
