    dell internal bluetooth module for aspire?

    my aspire 5630 - 6895 has the bluetooth switch, but doesnt have the bluetooth card. is it possible to use a dell internal bluetooth in my aspire?

    I would guess unlikely, but it's just a guess, even if the connector is exactly the same, my guess would be the pin setup is different.

    If it is the same specs, and has the same connection: then yes there is no reason it will not work. Its like taking your wireless card and putting it in a dell laptop. As long as the port is the same, it will work.

    Yes, but for an internal card for a laptop how likely is that, I'm not sure how easy it is to get the specifications for a Dell Internal Bluetooth card, but I'd be real careful before plugging it in (again, even if the connector is the same, the chances that all the pins are exactly the same is limited at best I would think).
