It all started with a screw that came loose inside the latop, and the cdrom that was not reading cdroms. I took it apart and did not find the missing screw inside it but, that the cdrom bracket on the rear of the cdrom player was slightly bent, I rebent it and put it back.

Now, there are three ribbons around the center of the keyboard tray that plug into the mother board. I got the large ribbon installed and snapped in.

The two tiny ones are a real challenge. Short is the issue. Do I need a really skinny and long long nose pliers to install those two tiny ribbons into there connectors? Do these connectors unclamp like the big on?

    Thanks

Yes, that one was taken care of. But these two tiny ribbons about 1/4 to 5/16 inch wide insert into two slots that looks like thay do not have movable parts. Im asuming you just ram them into these and they slide in? I do have really long long nose pliers, but thay are for automotive uses, not in cases like this where you need to sandwich the keyboard and motherboard together with less then a inch at the opening and also, to insert these two ribbons that are 90 degrees apart.

If no clamp then yes they just push in.
If you can't get fingers in then you need thin flat nosed pliers.
