    I heard that the 3820tg has better cooling since it has 2 fans/heatsinks cooling everything but the 4820/5820 models just have the 1, is that right?

    would that make the 3820tg better for a little gaming machine?

    anyways, is it also true that there are not many, if any, sub $1000 laptops with double cooling like this??, if thats the case, its a wonder acer did that! lol

    Actually, the Envy 14 has a dual fan system as well but it is a bit less efficient becasue they don't separate the heat sink like they do in the Acer. You should not be too surprised. Acer's engineering on the TimelineX series is first rate and a real break with Acer tradition. ;)
