    does anyone know what powerful laptop is coming next from acer?

    hi i am into acer laptops and own a 8930g the full spec one. had it since december 8th 2008 no problems perfect. but i found out today from company in uk simplyacer, that the 8951g is dicontinued now what ashame. so wanted to know does anyone know what big screen powerful laptop acer has coming out soon or later this year. i searched around and have found nothing accept for things like timeline and ultra from acer. so does anyone have any news or clues thanks, as i would rather stick with acer

    Honestly, if you ask my opinion I will tell you that these older Acer laptops were the best. However I am unimpressed with Acer's new stuff. If I was going to go for another mid range laptop I would go with MSI.

    It seems sad, acer always used to be hot on the heels of new releases, and they wonder why their growth stopped?

    I would be suprised if we did not see some ivy/kepler/AMD action considering all the changes though.

    they seem release a big 18.4 inch laptop each year. 8920g, 8930g, 8950g,and 8951g i just want to know what one they got planned for this year. as out of all my laptops and i always take good care of them this 8930g has lasted and plays all games so i am happy with it

    At a guess they will go with the GT650 (probably with DDR3, but if you are lucky GDDR5), 3610QM and the rest similar to what is there now.
