Finally got my 8930G (and it's top quality). What is the best drivers around for the nVIDIA 9600 GT. I know some may say the latest drivers, but the latest any always the greatest.
    Cheers

Glad you finally got your 8930G. And I an glad you are happy with your purchase.

    Small suggestion from me FWIW:

Start using your lappie and find your way around things and how your lappie works. Use it for a few days and understand how the whole package hangs together....

And only then start searching for better drivers and then do your changes.......

    Just old cautious me

    Cheers,
    Theo

Good news for those of us with Nvidia video chipsets...they've now started releasing notebook drivers instead of the old fallback "contact your notebook manufacturer"...

I've been using these....and have good results. No benchmarks, but good real world performance....

Enjoy your Acer....I have a 6930 and have been really impressed with the overall quality of the build.
