The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    im unable to set my external-lcd as a primary monitor in windows xp, the option is greyed out when i booted with the monitor plugged in the external was the primary monitor but the laptop screen was turned off and when i went to settings and set it to extend on to the laptop screen the laptop became primary monitor. but in win server 2008 in able to use ext monitor as primary in the same way. i have the same version of driver on both os'es does anybody know the solution?
