    hi, im intalled a clean xp on my acer 5610z, im use the native xp power management settings "Portable-laptop" in power options power Schemes .

    hey Leus, seeing the image you provided, knowing what the ePower software is like for my 5920G, I'd say the Acer software would be better as it lets you have access to more options for turning different items off.

    if you can find the ePower software for XP, I would install it :)
