    on my wifes aspire 7110 (only used for surfing net and pic's)at has an empty PCI Express bay.
    as she likes editing photos can this empty bay be used for graphics upgrade.
    she has intel(R) 945GM/GU graphics
    memory size 224MB.

    or is there any other use for it cheers for any help.

    Hoggie I thought you knew better ;) . Integrated graphics and most dedicated graphics cards in notebooks cannot be updated/upgraded. Forget the whole PCI express slot thing many have asked this question in the gaming section and the answer is always it will not work. :)
