hello everyone![]()
As the title says I have an "acer aspire 6930" home premium 32bit, does anyone know what has to be done to enable aero??
I have selected it and hit apply, but it still shows up as basic..
I would post a screenshot but I can't figure that out either....
thanks for any suggestions, and if you need any more info I will be happy to post it!!

Post a screenshot using snipping tool (use the start menu search box and type "snipping tool" into it w/out the quotes)
Have you run the "Windows Experience Index Assessment?" Sometimes this needs to be run in order for Aero to be active. To do this, type "windows experience" w/out the quotes into the start menu search box and click "Check the Windows Experience Index" If the window says that a score hasn't been established, go ahead and run the tests by clicking "rate this computer."
You can also run the "Aero Troubleshooter" http://support.microsoft.com/gp/aero_effects_not_working -
THANK YOU booboo12
